Sound Bites

"Sound Bites" is a community based research project dedicated to collecting, recording, and preserving distinctive Cantonese soundscape of Hong Kong. Our archive features favorite Cantonese expressions of Hongkongers from various background and ages. Through interactive, illuminated neon sign visuals, we hope to convey these warm, humorous, and historically significant everyday expressions to everyone.
