Voices of Domestic Helpers in Hong Kong

Under Construction

Sunday Voices, mainly focuses on the lives and situation of domestic helpers in Hong Kong. Each Sunday, the city's bridges transform into makeshift gathering spots, where these women, often away from their families, come to share stories, laughter and sing together. Here, in the heart of the city, they momentarily escape the demands of their work, finding solace in camaraderie.

Yet, beneath the surface of these joyful moments lies a narrative often overlooked. Many helpers face challenges of isolation, long working hours, and the complexities of their immigrant status. These Sunday gatherings not only offer a fleeting respite but also highlight the ongoing quest for recognition and rights within the fabric of Hong Kong society.
